Al Hajr Goat Forum

The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture's branch in the Eastern Province, represented by its office in Al-Ahsa, organized the Al Hajr Goat Forum in cooperation with the Cooperative Association for Animal Wealth in Al-Ahsa and the General Directorate of Animal Production at the ministry. The event also received support from Kefo Veterinary Company. The forum aimed to foster competition among animal breeders to improve production and animal breeds that align with the National Transformation Program 2030 targets in the animal wealth sector. This forum is the largest gathering of dwarf goat producers in the Kingdom and the Gulf region, and it provides an opportunity for knowledge sharing, exchanging information,and discussing techniques related to breeding dwarf goats. Lectures were also held on topics related to animal husbandry, nutrition, and animal health.
