Hajr Goat Exhibition

The branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in the Eastern Province, represented by the ministry's office in Al-Ahsa, organized the Hajr Goat Exhibition in collaboration with the Cooperative Association for Animal Wealth in Al-Ahsa and the General Directorate of Animal Production at the ministry. The exhibition aims to foster competition among livestock breeders in order to improve production and animal breeds that meet the goals of the National Transformation Program 2030 in the animal wealth sector. Approximately 90 purebred Hajr goats compete in six branches for the title of the best and most beautiful exhibition goat. The exhibition also provides an opportunity for breeders to share knowledge, exchange information, and discuss techniques related to raising Hajr goats. Lectures on topics related to breeding, nutrition, and animal health were presented. It is hoped that this exhibition will be repeated in the upcoming season, as the Hajr Goat Association was launched under the auspices of the Cooperative Association
